Do you have a passion for helping others? You can offer friendly encouragement and support as a newly arrived individual or family adjusts to their new home and environment. By helping a new resident explore their community, volunteers build up refugee confidence, while gaining insight to the refugee experience and learning about a new culture.

Volunteers are needed to purchase general household items or groceries for a the newly arriving refugee(s) prior to their arrival at their new home. We will provide you with a list of household items and culturally appropriate groceries and our account number to pay for the items. You may also put items away in the home.
