The Community English program brings affordable English instruction into the home of resettled refugees who may have barriers to traditional classroom English. Volunteers in the program meet with people from all over the world right here in Wyandotte County. The Refugee English Tutor will meet with refugees to review English lessons and practice conversational English in the home or designated location with the aim of increasing employability and self-sufficiency.

Founded in 1956, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is a ministry of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
