Elite Hospice relies on the talents and dedication of our wonderful volunteers to provide and enhance services and programs to benefit our patients. Hospice is an end-of-life care model that focuses on quality of life, which involves teams of doctors, nurses, hospice aides, social workers and chaplains. Volunteers are important and integral part of our team. Sharing your time and gifts makes a positive difference in others' lives.
Ways you can help:
-Be a patient companion
-Style hair
-Socialize with patients
-Make life-review visits
-Read to patients
-Help with office tasks
-Make phone calls to patients
-Art, music and aroma therapy
-Do yard work
-Cook and deliver meals
-Do laundry and ironing
-Serve on the spiritual care team
-Give manicures
-Do light cleaning
-Assist with our bereavement program

Description
We believe that every chapter of life, even in its final stages, can be lived well. When time matters most, you can count on our team of compassionate hospice professionals to help you or your loved one live comfortable, with dignity, when a cure is no longer possible. Meeting physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and family is our top priority. Our interdisciplinary hospice team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, counselors and trained volunteers offer the support patients and families need in the comfort and privacy of home. Counseling and bereavement support services are available to families before and after a patients death. Our hospice program is about living, loving and making everyday count.
