The Patient Navigator position requires acceptance of and ability to serve in diverse populations. The volunteer will assess medical, social and family needs which can include making and taking patients to doctor appointments, food banks, and linking clients to resources.

Description
Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning works with newly arrived refugees and immigrants from all over the world. Spring is the educational arm in their adjustment to the US. Spring offers Community English Second Language, CESL classes throughout the Denver metro area. These classes teach life skills such as making a doctor's appointment, shopping, and taking public transportation. The classes are oftne housed in schools and libraries.
