EF High School Exchange Year is looking to hire on-the-ground, local coordinators throughout the states of TX, OK, WY, ND, SD, and MT.
International Exchange Coordinators (IECs) work to find caring volunteer host families and match them with full-screened high school exchange students from Europe and Asia. IECs then provide support for the family and student for the duration of the exchange process. The best IECs are enthusiastic about cultural exchange, enjoy working with teens, and are active in the community. It’s a part-time, flexible position. Many IECs have full-time jobs, and some actually work for a school in some way. They could be parents who are active in PTA or other school-related organizations. Does this sound like you?
EF High School Exchange Year is the largest high school exchange student program of its kind, bringing thousands of high school students from countries worldwide to study for a year or semester in the U.S. Our students are proficient in English, provide their own spending money and insurance, and have shown they have the maturity and academic ability to be successful in a host family and American high school setting. Our mission is to open the world through education, and we do this by uniting students and local host families.
The program is really wonderful. The kids are so much fun, and working with them gives you a chance to experience other cultures and make a positive impact on the lives of others. It is incredibly rewarding. You will enjoy the way it touches lives and creates a lifelong bond for the student and their American family.

EF High School Exchange Year:
Our mission is to promote international understanding and global awareness across the United States, and to do so with the highest level of program quality and participant support in the exchange community.
EF High School Exchange Year is the leader in high school exchange. We bring more international students to the United States each year than any other program in our industry. We place approximately 3,000 students each year with caring host families. Since 1979, we have matched over 100,000 enthusiastic students from around the world with families across the United States.
We are responsible for coordinating every aspect of the student exchange process once students arrive in the United States. We find host families; enroll students in school; and provide students, hosts and schools with ongoing support and guidance to ensure a successful exchange year.
