New Century Hospice Wytheville is looking for volunteers to work with Hospice patients and their families. Services include visiting patients at their home, the hospital, or nursing facilities, providing companionship and supportive listening, and providing respite care for primary caregivers. Volunteers are not required to maintain a specific number of hours and they work with patients and families to develop their schedule.
This office covers nine counties and we are looking for volunteers in all of them. You DO NOT have to live in or near Wytheville to volunteer. We have patients in the following areas:
Wythe County
Bland County
Smyth County
Tazewell County
Washington County
Grayson County
Carroll County
Pulaski County
Giles County
You may live in any of the counties (or nearby) to become a Hospice Volunteer with New Century Hospice.
