New Century Hospice Wytheville is looking for a special volunteer to provide weekly Tuck-In calls for our patients. This volunteer would call each patient or caregiver near the end of each week to "tuck" them in before the weekend and make sure they have enough supplies, equipment, and medications to get them through the weekend. We offer 24 hour nursing assistance but we find these Tuck-In calls help maintain continuity of care in an effort to preclude any emergencies. This Tuck-In Volunteer forms a special relationship with our patients and caregivers over time.

We are also looking for people to assist with clerical and administrative functions in our office. This may include answering phones, filing, assisting with mailing, and providing general office support.
