SAT/ACT Prep

We are seeking volunteer contributors to assist with the CollegePrep initiative.

The College Prep Program develops the best practices for taking the ACT and SAT and shares them online, free of charge, for use by high school students across and beyond the US. This includes videos explaining how to solve ACT/SAT practice problems and covering fundamental concepts that are common to the ACT and the SAT. We are building a community to assist with preparatory content. The target audience for College Prep’s materials will be students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds who can benefit immensely in the college application process from even small improvements in their ACT/SAT scores. This content should be useful to everyone that is preparing for these standardized exams. Overall, this content is non-competitive with other non-profits and could be used as a supplement with other test prep materials or by itself.

This program has two components: videos explaining how to solve ACT/SAT practice problems from testmaker official guides (student-led), and videos covering fundamental concepts that are common to the ACT, SAT, and other standardized tests (teacher-led).

We are requesting volunteers to help us with video content (all contributions are virtual). Your contribution could consist of videos of you walking through practice problems/ foundational concepts, providing personal tips and insights along the way. Your contribution could be as short as a 10 minute video! Check out an example from one of our contributors:
