Certification Exam Proctor @ KCLS Libraries

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: King County Library System

Help library patrons access valuable Microsoft Certification services at KCLS libraries!

Volunteers needed at Auburn, Kent, Shoreline, Renton, and Redmond libraries; mimimum time commitment is 3 hours a month.

As a Certification Exam Proctor volunteer you would ensure the integrity of a certification exam environment. The opportunity is relatively low-engagement and provides a good scenario for students or avid readers who may successfully perform proctor duties while quietly studying or reading in the exam room. Basic duties include verifying photo ID of test registrants, monitoring the exam session, and reporting any observed violations to testing entities. You could also connect to certification for yourself or more engaged tutoring experiences from here.

Required: a KCLS Tech Tutor Volunteer application (background check), and a 1-hour training slideshow.
