Play, Learn, and Grow with Me is a 5-week series of playshops for children ages 1 - 3 and their caregivers. We are looking for two volunteers to support this program - one on Thursday evenings and one on Friday mornings.
This series brings together toddlers and their parents in an informal, interactive setting with community professionals. It emphasizes and supports the role of parents as first teachers, facilitates early intervention, and teaches strategies that promote healthy child development. Adults have the opportunity to socialize and experience developmentally appropriate toys with their little ones while community professionals provide information.
The volunteer will help set up and break down the room each week. And, during the program, the volunteer will be stationed at the art exploration table. We'll be drawing, working with playdough, fingerpainting, and exploring rice sensory bins.
Every Thursday from 5-7PM from May 16 through June 13
Exact dates are: May 16, May 23, May 30, June 6, June 13
Every Friday from 10:30AM-12:30PM from May 17 through June 14
Exact dates are: May 17, May 24, May 31, June 7, June 14
