Control invasive blackberry along the Nisqually River!

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Nisqually Land Trust

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Come out to the Nisqually Land Trust's Yelm Shoreline protected area for a morning of blackberry removal!

This reach of the Nisqually River provides habitat for steelhead trout and all of the Nisqually salmon, and surrounding forest improves the river's water quality and habitat integrity. By removing invasive blackberry, we can allow native plants room to grow and thrive, restoring the forest and helping the species that depend on it.
