Volunteers needed for 5k race fundraiser - Pilgrim Pie Run for Rotary

On Thanksgiving morning the Rotary Club of La Grange, a volunteer organization of local business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service and help build good will and peace, will be hosting it's annual PILGRIM PIE RUN FOR ROTARY and we need your help!

A race of this magnitude can only be produced with the help of quality volunteers so in preparation for this great event coming back, we are looking for volunteers to donate some of their time to help us achieve some of our philanthropic goals.

Position we are looking for volunteers to help fill include:

REGISTRATION - Distributing racer packets, fielding / answering questions from racers
BAG CHECK - Receiving and watching participants bags of valuables
REFRESHMENTS - Distributing food and beverages to participants
COURSE MARSHALS - Directing racers through 5k course
WATER STATIONS - Pouring water into cups for participants to take along designated places on course
TIMING - Assist the timing company with race results
FINISH LINE - Handing out drinks and directing racers to festival area

This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to fulfill volunteer requirements, community service, wanting to be a part of a community event or just to meet new people in an exciting atmosphere.
