The Saturn V Rocket on display at Rocket Park (part of the Space Center Houston Tram Tour) would have carried 3 astronauts to the moon in the 1970's. The program was cancelled before this rocket could fly. Guests on the Tram Tour stop at Rocket Park to view this amazing and huge machine.
The volunteer assigned to this area provides tours of the facility, and gives information about the rocket and the Apollo program and answers questions. The volunteer also assists employees with directing guests to the tram.
