This is a great opportunity to begin a rewarding adventure. Tutors can benefit from helping others as much as the students do. You will have an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. Tutoring can be challenging but can ultimately be very rewarding. We have opportunities that will fit your schedule. We have daytime and evening opportunities. We are also in need of one on one tutors to assist our students gain a better understanding of the curriculum. No weekends. We look forward to you joining our volunteer team!! Description

The Southgate Downriver Literacy Council is located at Asher School which is an Adult Education School. Our school is comprised of an alternative high school, GED(General Education Diploma), ESL(English as a Second Language) and ABE(adult basic education).
