Celebrate a family's school attendance achievement by creating a Family Fun Kit!

Formerly homeless families participating in Simpson Housing Services' Family Housing program are striving to attend school 95% or higher, or make a 10% increase in school attendance from one quarter to the next. We know that school attendance is critical to learning and families are working hard to achieve their goals.

To volunteer:

• Select a theme kit(s) from the list below
• Purchase the items (must be new)
• Place them in a decorative paper bag with tissue paper
• Label the bag
• Deliver to our main office

• A $20 gift card to Little Ceasar's
• A 2 liter of lemonade
• Colorful paper plates
• Colorful paper napkins
• Colorful paper cups

"Family Readers Kit"

• A reuseable cloth book bag
• A bookmark
• A $25 gift card to Barnes & Noble

"Family Movie Experience Kit"

• 2 Boxes of candy
• A $30 gift card to Mann Theatres or AMC Theatres

"Family Game Night Kit"

• 1 Family oriented board game
• 2 activity/crossword books
• 1 box of goldfish crackers
• 1 bag of pretzels
• A 2 liter of lemonade
• $10 gift card to Target

"Family Baking Kit"

• 1 Box of chocolate or vanilla cake mix
• 1 Box of sugar cookie mix
• 2 kinds of frosting
• 3 shaped cookie cutters
• 1 cake pan
• 1 baking sheet
• 1 container of sprinkles

"Family Ice Cream Sundae Kit"

• 1 Container of fudge, caramel, or strawberry topping
• 1 Container of rainbow sprinkles
• 4 Ice cream bowls with spoons
• 1 Ice cream scoop
• $15 Cub Foods gift card
