The Exhibit Tinker Technician volunteer will assist the Exhibit Production Manager in repairs to Circuit Board puzzles used in The Studio, our creative arts/maker/tinker space. The Circuit Board Puzzles are a popular activity that has visitors using batteries, alligator clamps, light switches and lightbulbs to create a circuit and activate a light bulb.

Qualifications
  • Basic hand tool usage knowledge
  • Soldering experience
  • Lite electrical low voltage experience.
Training Provided
  • Volunteer Orientation
  • Project related training

Desired Time Commitment
  • 2-4 hours a month, ongoing as needed. Flexible; shifts can be scheduled at volunteer’s convenience, typically during the weekdays from 9am-4pm. Exact schedule and shifts will be determined with Exhibit Production Manager.
