Family Promise In Anoka County- Family Promise in Anoka County is an Interfaith Hospitality Network providing temporary shelter, hospitality and case management for families with dependent children experiencing homelessness. Volunteers assist as cooks, drivers, laundry workers, host/hostess, handyman, day center volunteers and office support.
Become an Office Angel: Interested volunteer would help with various projects for about 2-5 hours every other week. They would set up their schedule in advance so that staff could have projects ready for them by the schedule they set together.
Weekend Hosts at the Day Center help keep Family of Promise running! Hosts help keep Family of Promise open while families come in to do housing searches, take care of errands, respond to mail, do laundry etc.

The Anoka County RSVP connects people age 55 and over who want to volunteer with non-profit and social service programs in Anoka County who need volunteers. Volunteers enroll by completing a skills and interests checklist and these are matched to community needs. From the matches, the volunteer selects a volunteer job that is meaningful and fits. Become one of nearly a half million RSVP volunteers across the country who are making a difference in their community.
