Join us in planting trees as a volunteer!
Planting day is among our favorite days of the year and we would love it if you could join us! Our day starts early and you are welcome to join us anytime, but we ask that you arrive no later than 8:45 am to register and enjoy some hot coffee and delicious breakfast treats. After a brief welcome, the planting starts promptly at 9:00 am. No need to bring anything- we provide gloves and tools, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes. Our neighborhood volunteers will also provide a potluck lunch for all volunteers after the planting is complete, we sure do work up an appetite when we plant. Meet at the Eugene Friends of Trees office (338 W 11th Ave, Eugene, OR 97401).
Looking to volunteer as a group? RSVPs are kindly requested for groups of more than 5 people - contact us! RSVPs are not required for individuals or groups of 4 or fewer -- you can simply show up!
We are looking for a few more bike team planters and truck drivers! We could use a few more bikes and trucks to help haul tools and trees! If you are interested please send us an email.
Please contact Taylor at 541-632-3683 or TaylorG@friends oftrees.org if you have any questions or need more information.
We look forward to seeing you there!
