Join staff and volunteer leaders from the American Brain Tumor Association for an informative and fun event at the Downers Grove Recreation Center on Saturday, November 4 from 9-11:30am. Meet and share stories with others from the Chicagoland area whose lives have been impacted by a brain tumor and have a passion to give back. You'll hear all about how raising awareness, raising funds and providing support to others can make a difference. All current volunteers as well as those interested in volunteering are welcome.

The mission of the American Brain Tumor Association is to advance the understanding and treatment of brain tumors with the goals of improving, extending and, ultimately, saving the lives of those impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis.
We do this through interactions and engagements with brain tumor patients and their families, collaborations with allied groups and organizations, and the funding of brain tumor research.
Description
Founded in 1973, the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) was the first national nonprofit organization dedicated solely to brain tumors. For over 40 years, the ABTA has been providing critical funding to researchers working toward breakthroughs in brain tumor diagnosis, treatment and care. We remain the only national organization providing comprehensive resources and serving the complex supportive care needs of brain tumor patients and their caregivers - from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
