Volunteer Puppy Sitters watch our puppies in training on a short term basis while puppy raisers are on vacation. Puppy Sitters will receive training on Anchor Assistance Dogs training methods. Sitters may be needed to keep a puppy in training in their home for a weekend or up to a month depending on circumstances. This is a fun opportunity for those that are interested in raising but unable to make a commitment to raising a puppy.

Anchor Assistance Dogs is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located in Virginia Beach, VA. We train service dogs for children and adults with physical disabilities, as well as facility dogs to assist professionals working in a variety of human services settings.
