518 North Nevada AvenueColorado Springs, CO 80903

We have a list of options to participate in our Youth Venture program.

1. Present to a group of youth about an aspect of running a venture (budgeting, fundraising, marketing, etc.)
Time Commitment: 1 Hour, 1 Day, 1 Time Event
We love to bring presenters in for workshops and events to gain skills that help them increase the impact of their ventures. Throughout these events we have interactive talks on common aspects of their running a social venture (i.e. budgeting, fundraising, grant writing, marketing, legal advice, etc.). We love to have professionals in these fields or others with professional experience facilitate these talks.

2. Virtually Mentor Young Social Entrepreneurs using your Expertise
Time Commitment: 1-3 hrs per month; at least once a month
We are looking for professionals in the area that have expertise and/or professional experience in one of these aspects and are willing to give advice to youth social entrepreneurs via email or phone "as needed" basis.

3. Give Youth Feedback on Social Venture Pitches
Time Commitment: 2 hrs, 1 Day, 1 Time Event
Each group of youth ventures pitches their social venture, and we are in need of a community panel to give them feedback on their presentations. This will help them improve their pitches and receive seed funding to launch their ventures.

4. Selection Panelist
Time Commitment: 2-3 hrs, 1 Day, 1 Time Event
We are looking for a selection of panelists to listen to the youths' pitches, give feedback, and ultimately decide (based on a criteria rubric) if the ventures receive funding.

5. Photograph Youth Led Events and Activities
Time Commitment: 2 hrs for 1-6 Months
We're seeking volunteers who are willing to go to events and activities organized by our youth led social ventures to take pictures to document the impact through photography. You don't have to pictures to document the impact through photography. You don't have to be a professional, just know the basics of working a camera. The amount of events you photograph are up to you.

6. Create Multimedia Documenting Youth-Led Social Ventures
Time Commitment: 5-10 hrs per month for a minimum of one month
Film or write about youth-led social ventures in the Pikes Peak area. We love documenting the work our young social entrepreneurs are doing. We do that through written stories and short videos. We'd love to have volunteers create some of these stories for us.
