The library is recruiting volunteers with interest or experience in: digitization, sewing, crafts, robotics, 3D design, CAD technology and LEGO bricks.

The Blake Library idea lab will be the 5th idea lab at MCLS. It features preservation equipment, design technology, and will introduce a designated makerspace and LEGO Wall. Users are encouraged to create and collaborate with the aid of technology.

Volunteers are encouraged to provide leadership with program development, activity delivery to groups of library patrons, or one-on-one instruction. Experience with the various software packages, programs, computers including Macs and PCs, a plus.
