Visiting with our hospice patients and their families means more than anyone can understand. You could bring a smile to their face and joy in their hearts.
We are looking for an individual who can sit with our patients. Someone that can laugh with them, play a game with them, or even watch television with them. Often times our patients families just need someone to talk to.

Description
Enhabit is looking for volunteers to provide support to patients and their families during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given the flexibility to make your own schedule and only participate in activities that you are comfortable with.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, bring your (eligible) pet to provide comfort to the patient and families, or even creating a photo album or memoir for the patient's family.
