What an amazing opportunity to share your cosmetology skills with someone truly in need. Our hospice patients are often times unable to leave their home, but they are also completely capable of receiving this service. Just a style, wash, or even a simple manicure can make anyone, including our hospice patients, feel so much better.
Get with us if you want an opportunity to make someone's day.

About Enhabit Health- Hospice

Location:

2900 St. Michael Dr, Ste. 400B, Texarkana, TX 75503, US

Mission Statement

At Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, we believe hospice is not a place, but rather a philosophy of care. Our goal is to bring dignity and comfort home by offering compassionate care to patients and their families during the final stages of life.

Description

Enhabit is looking for volunteers to provide support to patients and their families during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given the flexibility to make your own schedule and only participate in activities that you are comfortable with.

A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by running errands for patients and families, playing games or reading with patients, bring your (eligible) pet to provide comfort to the patient and families, or even creating a photo album or memoir for the patient's family.
