1. Live on the wild side in October! Groups/individuals are invited to help students celebrate on the day after Halloween with a pajama party. Collect and donate new pajamas for the party and come read bedtime stories (nothing too spooky!) to the students.
2. Another opportunity this month is for groups/individuals to host an Owls, Bats, & Spiders party and help our students see that these critters aren’t anything to be afraid of! Groups can bring materials for a related craft.

Our mission is to provide caring, high-quality free education and related services to at-risk children and families in their own neighborhoods to prepare and empower them for success in school and life.
Description
We provide free and fully accredited preschool education for children living in poverty in Northern Virginia. We also provide free family support, literacy, job training, and health programs to the parents of our students, giving children what they need most: strong, capable families. Currently, we serve nearly 200 children and their families each year at six program sites throughout Alexandria and Arlington.
