Volunteers needed to help Northwest Harvest at our KZOK Rock the Harvest event, a 12-hour radio-thon asking listeners to call in pledges to help in the fight against hunger.
Volunteers will accept phone call pledges from KZOK listeners and must be comfortable accepting confidential credit card information over the phone. Volunteers must be 18 or older, and cannot have a background that includes any felonies. (Volunteers also must be comfortable being on camera as there may be a webcam in the phone bank.)
Volunteers needed for each of these shifts:
- 7am - 10am - 1 volunteer needed
- 10am - 1pm - Full!
- 1pm - 4pm - Full!
- 4pm - 7pm - 2 volunteers needed
No parking is provided. Northwest Harvest can sign-off on hours for work or school purposes, but we are unable to provide community service for court-related situations.
All donations from the KZOK Rock the Harvest event support Northwest Harvest's network of more than 375 food banks, meal programs and high need schools. Last year, Northwest Harvest provided more than 33 million pounds of food to this network, and all the food was given away free of charge and without proof of need.

Description
Northwest Harvest collects and distributes food to more than 375 independent food banks, hot meal programs, and high need schools across Washington State without proof of need. We provide over 2 million meals every month to individuals and families in need. We also run one food bank of our own, the Cherry Street Food Bank in Seattle.
Northwest Harvest is unable to provide court-related community service.
