Our services benefit low and moderate-income households. It is the prefect short-term community outreach opportunity.

Don't know that much about taxes? Don't worry - you'll get specialized training or you can choose a volunteer role that doesn't require tax law certification. The hours are flexible, the training and materials are free, and the time commitment is up to you!

Current positions needed are:

Tax Preparers - You complete and successfully certify in tax law training, including the use of electronic filing software, to provide free tax return preparation for eligible taxpayers. We will be using a drop off method to ensure safety to our preparers and customers with no traditional sit down preparation. All sites will have the taxpayers drop off their paperwork for the preparers to complete later using the phone for communication with the taxpayer.

Greeters - You complete an intake orientation but do not need to certify in tax law. Using our newly developed drop off method you will not have direct contact with the taxpayers. Your position involves making copies and/or scanning documentation dropped off by the taxpayer.
