We provide a Indiana Kidney Check screening to those 18 and older that includes: Registration, BP,BMI, glucose finger stick, Urinalysis, and GFR to determine health risk for chronic diseases, provides education on prevention and management, and determine how the kidneys are functioning. We need volunteers to run medical stations that have had some experience with these areas, but training is provided. This is also a way for you to get clinic hours, hands on experience, and give back to the community.

Description
The National Kidney Foundation of Indiana (NKFI) is a state affiliate of the National Kidney Foundation, Inc. The National office was established in 1950; Indiana's office was started in 1970. Our major program areas include Patient Services, Public Education, Professional Education, Public Policy, and Minority Outreach. We also have staff to assist with fundraising and program development. Our constituents include many types of organ transplant recipients, patients and family members, organ donors, organ donor families, lay volunteers, and medical professionals.
