River Keepers had another fun and successful year at the Red River Water Festival. Over 2,000 fourth grade students came through and learned about the importance of water through hands on activities.
In order to make next years event a success, we are looking for volunteers to prepare activity supplies. Supplies can be taken home and worked on or worked on at River Keepers. Tasks might include cutting string, hole punching, sharpening pencils, or putting beads on a string.

Description
River Keepers is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization advocating for safe and sustainable use of the Red River of the North. We work with the community to LEARN about the Red River, so they become good stewards and help SUSTAIN the river, and safely ENJOY it. River Keepers grew from a desire to rediscover the Red River’s heritage, and to teach people to again appreciate the Red as a living River.
