We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for a part time Volunteer Coordinator position.
Qualifications:
- Must be organized
- Detail oriented
- Must have a warm people oriented personality, a team leader
- Must have experience in a management or supervision position
- Experience with yoga preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Must have knowledge of Mail Chimp and Social Media
- Clean background and drug screen

Mission Statement
UpRising Yoga's mission is to bring yoga-inspired resources to incarcerated and under-served communities.
Description
We teach yoga in juvenile halls, detention facilities, probation camps, group homes as well as community centers and schools. The specific populations served are incarcerated youth, children with a history of foster care and/or commercial sexual exploitation (CSEC), and communities that need it most. We also hold trauma sensitive yoga trainings and teach yoga in areas that do not offer yoga, establishing community.
