General Clinic

We are currently searching for a security guard for our clinic space. Your hours would be from 6-10 on Tuesdays every week, for a population of approximately 25-40 clients and 20-25 student volunteers. Your main responsibilities would be to help set up and assist the director team in the event that a client has been asked to leave. We would prefer someone who understands or can empathize with the barriers our clients face, including potential mistrust of law enforcement. Pay is negotiable.

Suitcase Clinic's General Clinic is a health and wellbeing service clinic for homeless and low-income folks. We typically provide a variety of services, from professionally coordinated ones like medical, osteopathic manipulative medicine, massage, and optometry vouchers to caseworker services provided by our student volunteers, like haircutting, footwashing, hygiene supplies, and housing and legal resource consultations. It's also a community for clients to come spend time with volunteers and hang out.
