Mandarin Speaking Volunteers Needed for Seniors!

Avenidas is looking for bilingual volunteers who speak Mandarin to help us with our annual flu shot clinics. Walgreens will provide the flu shots and the volunteers will help Avenidas staff with signing people in, directing clients, and providing translation.
The clinics will take place at 9:30am - 12:30pm on:
Friday, Oct. 13th
and
Wednesday, Oct. 18th
Volunteers should arrive at 9am.
Volunteers will help Avenidas staff communicate what is on the forms, any health side effects, etc. to non-English speaking seniors who come to get their flu shots. This is particularly important for Oct. 18th, as we have a large Chinese community who attend that clinic.
