Bring your volunteer superpower to our Emergency Department and serve! Yes, we need super volunteers to help our patients, visitors, and staff keep the emergency department going.

The Emergency Department (ED) volunteer role provides experience in a rural, often fast-paced, Emergency Department setting. As an ED volunteer, you greet and interact with patients in the lobby, assist the ED staff with rooming patients, prepare patient rooms upon discharge for next patient, transport samples to the onsite laboratory, assist with stocking medical supplies, and aide the techs, nurses, and physicians as necessary. This role is popular among pre-med and pre-nursing students. Bring your cape and super powers and share your volunteer can-do attitude.
