Have you been spending too much time on the couch recently? Ready to make someone’s world a little bit better? Come and volunteer to be a van driver for patients who need assistance getting to medical appointments!
We are currently accepting volunteers with a great attitude, clean driving record, a willingness to help their neighbors, a kind heart of service, and a love for the community.
West Valley Hospital Connections program provides rides to patients going to and from medical appointments within Polk County. As a driver (we supply the vehicle) you serve one shift a week for 4-hours interacting with appreciative patients. Added bonus is a free lunch for your shift!
We provide all training and costs associated with on-boarding and we have strict safety precautions to protect you and our patients using the services. Visit salemhealth.org/volunteer to learn more!
