Neighbors' Holiday Program provides gifts for families in need during the holiday season. Through the adopt-a-family model, individuals in the community sign up to provide toys, clothing, or books to kids who otherwise would not receive gifts. Intake volunteers meet with individuals who are interested in signing their family up to receive gifts through the program and ask questions about the children's ages, interests, needs, and sizes.
Details:
- Shifts available, Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm - 4:15 pm (mid-October to mid-December). Volunteer must be able to commit to multiple shifts as significant training is required.
- Spanish language skills a huge plus but not required.
- Volunteer must be sensitive to cultural differences and understand the importance of confidentiality.
Neighbors does not have opportunities for court-mandated community service at this time.

Volunteers serve their neighbors in need through programs such as a food shelf, Clothes Closet thrift store, holiday assistance, and much more. At Neighbors, all donations and volunteer service directly supports the local community.
