ORGANIZATION: Jeane Thorman Elementary School

Thorman Elementary is looking for Volunteers to lead a group of k-5th graders to play and introduce board games. This club will help students to critically think and bond with their classmates.
Volunteers will be required to arrive early to set up the games and get settled in.
This club meets every Tuesday at 2:30

Volunteers should be able to:

  • Lead a group of students in board games/ card games
  • commit at least 1 hour of their time per week

Requirements: There will be an orientation and background check for all volunteers.

When will I lead my group? Tuesday

|Starts: November 7th, 2017 & Ends December 19th, 2017 with the possibility of resuming after winter break|

Where will I be leading my groups: At the Thorman Library

Start time and End time for Volunteer Leads: 2:15 - 3:30pm

Start time and End time for Students: 2:30-3:30pm

Thorman Elementary School Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Friday:

School Starts: 7:35

School Ends: 2:23

Wednesday: School starts: 8:50 School Ends: 2:23
