Each year the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia hosts its Annual Serving the Kids First Dinner to highlight the accomplishments of the Clubs’ students and generosity of its donors over the course of the previous year. With this year being the 20 th Anniversary of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia, this event is sure to be the biggest, and best yet!

The dinner is prefaced by a "mock Club" where our Club members share what a day in the life of a Club kid is like. The "mock Club" is coupled with an hour long Cocktail Hour including a silent auction that is tailored to the theme each year. At dinner, each table of guests is accompanied by two of our Club members, which is where our dinner gets its namesake, truly making this event unlike any other in the Valley! This year, we also have a Special Keynote Presentation by Dr. Robert Sandel, President of Virginia Western Community College!

This event cannot be a success without the assistance and support from wonderful volunteers like you. There are 3 specific tasks that we need volunteers help with and are listed below:

Task:

Set up: 2:30-5:30pm, 3-5 Volunteers

Registration: 5:30-7:15pm, 2-3 Volunteers
