Portland Parent Union

"Education is a right we will not give up the fight" The Dignity in Schools Campaign’s National Week of Action brings together organizations and individuals from many states to call for an end to zero tolerance policies, for the implementation of positive approaches to discipline, like restorative justice practices and positive behavior supports instead of relying solely on suspensions and expulsions, and for the passage of federal legislation that promotes positive school climates

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to organize Parents for better outcomes by enriching them through support, information and education. We are dedicated to the Parent's development of leadership skills, knowledge and responsibility.

Description

The Portland Parent Union was born of the desire to give parents representation and a collective voice equal with what teachers have.
