ORGANIZATION: START SMALL THINK BIG INC

Are you a Website Designer looking to use your skills for greater good? Become a volunteer at Start Small Think Big! We are a non-profit that provides high quality legal, financial, and marketing assistance to low-to-moderate income entrepreneurs in NYC and San Francisco. The majority of the websites we have designed are built from templates using popular platforms such as Squarespace, Wix and Shopify.

Interested in hearing more or if you are a good fit? Fill out our volunteer application: bit.ly/startsmallthinkbig, by selecting the "Market Access/ Marketing" program. Someone will get in touch with you to schedule an orientation call. Within the volunteer application, provide us with a link to your portfolio or examples of your work so that we can get a sense of your work. Please only apply if you have at least 3 years of professional experience.

Start Small Think Big is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing equity and inclusion in entrepreneurship by connecting small businesses with the resources and community they need to thrive. - We stand for access and opportunity and get behind the belief that with a skilled partner, entrepreneurs and their businesses can thrive personally and professionally. - We create powerful connections with entrepreneurs and legal, financial, and marketing experts that provide assistance while building meaningful collaborations.

Description

We focus on partnering with BIPOC entrepreneurs, women, LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs, immigrants, veterans, entrepreneurs with disabilities, low-income entrepreneurs, and formerly incarcerated entrepreneurs. We help identify entrepreneurs’ areas of need and provide them with free technical assistance across the finance, marketing and legal areas. We do this by connecting them with our community of corporate partners and skills-based volunteers - so small businesses have the network and resources they need to grow on their own terms.
