We are currently seeking compassionate Veterans for our Veteran-to-Veteran program. When Veterans interact, their common language and experience can form a strong relational bond. The camaraderie created between Veterans has proven to be supportive for all involved. http://www.jkvhealthservices.org/volunteer/
Veteran Volunteers can
* Provide support and companionship with regular friendly visits;
* Assist Veterans in reminiscing and telling life stories;
* Educate and assist patients in receiving Veteran benefits;
* Assist in replacing lost medals;
* Take part in annual Veterans Day service and other recognition events;
* ...and so much more.

Village Hospice believes that each patient deserves to live each day to the fullest, and families deserve to be completely supported and informed. We care for patients with dignity, compassion, and grace. Village Hospice provides nursing care, respite care, bereavement support, music therapy, pet visits, and much more. Our professional team focuses on the entire well-being of the patients and their loved ones.
We are an open-access hospice and do not refuse admission based on the patient’s treatment choice. Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance covers most services. Since hospice care is based on need, a patient is never turned away due to a lack of insurance or funding.
