Mentoring

Taft IT High School is piloting a mentoring program, Senators Mentoring, for 7th and 8th grade students. This program will help inspire students to chart a new path in their education and future with the support of a mentor. We need volunteers to serve as mentors for 7th and 8th grade students. Description

GRAD Cincinnati, a community-based nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization created in 2001, improves the chances of success for urban youth. GRAD Cincinnati provides academic support to help students achieve in the classroom, grow as individuals and citizens of the community, graduate from high school and enter and complete a college education. It is specifically targeted to support over 3,500 students and nearly 170 teachers and principals within Cincinnati Public Schools. The organization's mission is to raise expectation and achievement for all students by building high impact partnerships within the community to provide a premier college readiness, access and support program. The vision is that all students graduate from high school and are prepared to succeed in college and career.
