Job Title: Business Development Manager
Noah Education Fund is a 501c (3) non-profit organization in the Washington, D.C., area. We are an organization with a friendly working environment and we are looking for passionate and self-driven individuals to assist with our new website: www.noahwriting.com.
JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Business Development Manager, you will introduce and promote www.noahwriting.com to high school and college students as well as other writer groups through emails. This position is overseen and managed by the Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Understand project management processes and methodology.
* Create and execute project plans, including deadlines, specs, assets, and budget.
* Enhance website contents by providing positive and constructive feedback and comments to the team of dedicated writers.
* Produce other writings as assigned including business proposals, marketing plans and website pages.
* You will be expected to hit key metrics with respect to the Marketing field.
* Give status update on progress to the Director every week before Monday.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop and communicate effectively within and across teams
* Ability to solve issues with creative, strategic, and durable solutions
* Strong attention to detail and project deadlines
* Exceptionally professional and helpful demeanor
* Strong time management skills and ability to coordinate tasks and set priorities with little supervision
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong computer and internet research skills
* Interest in growing a startup
* Prior Marketing experience would be helpful, but not required as long as applicants can show an interest in the field of Marketing as well as project management experience
REQUIREMENTS: Candidates can telecommute and work from home. This position requires 5 hours or more per week and the work schedule is flexible.
