CitySquare- Denver is in need of volunteers to assist with general cleaning of the facility. Duties & Responsibilities include utilizing cleaning list to track completed tasks, sweeping, mopping, taking out trash and recyclable items. Also duties include cleaning restrooms and general seating areas. CitySquare is open from Monday-Thursday 10am-2pm to the general public for services and are seeking assistance during these hours and afterhours until 3pm.

Description
Since 1988, CitySquare has addressed the causes and effects of poverty by working together with the people we serve, known to us as neighbors. CitySquare fights poverty through service, advocacy and friendship, with 14 unique programs that address hunger, health, housing, and hope-benefitting at-risk youth, working poor families, and the homeless. According to Charity Navigator (http://www.charitynavigator.org), 88.6% of our total expenses are spent on the programs and services we deliver. Originally started as the Central Dallas Food Pantry, CitySquare has grown to be one of the largest, most effective social services organizations in Texas, serving more than 50,000 unduplicated neighbors each year and branching out to serve the urban poor across Texas, and now in Denver.
We operate out of our Denver Community Center at 2575 S. Broadway and will be reopening our doors in April. Stay tuned for program information and opportunities.
