ORGANIZATION: Gold Country Wildlife Rescue

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 6 people are interested

At Gold Country Wildlife Rescue, we take in and care for over 3000 wild animals each year. These animals generally come from a concerned member of the public, attempting to save the animal from further neglect or injury. Animals come from all over Northern California and are specially cared for by our wonderful volunteers and technicians.

Individuals who would like to make a huge impact on our organization, either at home or at our center, are encouraged to consider becoming a Phone-Line Volunteer. These volunteers will answer and direct calls from the public to the correct members in the organization and prevent unnecessary human intervention, or to ensure animals in need are directed to our center. If you have a varied and hectic schedule, but can answer phone messages from time to time, this is the perfect way to help our wildlife friends!
