ORGANIZATION: Gold Country Wildlife Rescue

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 1 person is interested

At Gold Country Wildlife Center, we receive over 3000 wild animals in need each year. Many animals require months of specified care and rehabilitation before being returned to the wild. It is crucial for our organization to do our part in educating the public through outreach events, as well as bringing in funds through various fundraiser events year-round. These events are one of the few ways we may generate donations from the community, as we receive no federal or state funding.

Volunteers who have a passion for animal welfare and an interest in event planning, set-up/tear-down, public speaking, or simply doing the miscellaneous tasks it takes to run a successful event, is welcome and encouraged to join our event team!

Find a home with us, while providing your irreplaceable assistance at one of our many events for education or fundraising. Get to know our ambassador animals as well as have the freedom to choose tasks and times that work with your busy schedule.
