Do you love wildlife and being outside? Would you like to make a difference while enjoying the breeze? Come join us at Gold Country Wildlife Center and help us care for our yard and general grounds, where we host events, make outdoor temporary homes for our animals in care, and give our volunteers a beautiful place to enjoy on their breaks. This position is flexible and may be done in one approximate 4hr shift or in several 1 hr shifts throughout the week. These volunteers will have the opportunity to be creative outside and learn some amazing facts about our wildlife neighbors and the world we share. Description
Gold Country Wildlife Rescue is a group of committed volunteers dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife. Our trained volunteer rehabilitators are licensed by California Department of Fish & Game to care for and release native wildlife. Each year our group provides care for hundreds of birds and mammals. We depend on memberships, donations, fundraisers, and volunteers to continue our work.
