Want to help refugees and children in need? Can’t commit to a year?
Help us out behind the scenes at Bethany Christian Services’ Thrift Store!

Each year, in Grand Rapids alone, dozens of children age out of foster care, and hundreds of refugees arrive, fleeing their war-torn homes. Bethany’s Thrift Store’s proceeds equip families to be the answer for these children, and enable Bethany to provide resettlement support to these refugees.

Our flexible volunteer schedule gives you the chance to earn volunteer hours fast - you can come multiple times a week, or just once! You’ll get connected at this global nonprofit, all while sorting clothing, cleaning household items and, most importantly, helping Bethany change lives.

We can accommodate groups of up to 6 if you’d like to use this as a Saturday outing with friends!
