Do you like books? Do you like helping people? If so, we've got the perfect opportunity for you! Spicewood Community Library is currently seeking volunteers to help run our front desk and assist patrons. During your shift, you will be responsible for checking patrons in and out, shelving books, assisting with computer questions and helping process thrift store sales among other library tasks. Shifts run from 4-5 hours each and are scheduled according to your availability. Want to come once per month? Perfect! Weekly? Wonderful! Spicewood Community Library is located in Spicewood, TX, Burnet County.

Description
Located nearly 20 miles from any other public library, the Spicewood Community Library provides a variety of services to the residents of this area. The library opened in 2007 with 100% private funding and no public funding has ever been provided. With fundraising success from numerous donors, the library now offers a range of programs, services and more.
