If you live in Abington, Braintree, Bridgewater, Carver, Cohasset, Duxbury, East Bridgewater, Halifax, Hanover, Hanson, Hingham, Holbrook, Hull, Kingston, Marshfield, Milton, Norwell, Pembroke, Plymouth, Quincy, Randolph, Rockland, Scituate, West Bridgewater, Weymouth, or Whitman and have a genuine interest to give back in your own community please contact us. We have the immediate need for the following volunteer positions:

Community Volunteers work directly with our patients and families wherever they may live. This could be in their home, at a skilled nursing facility or a the Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham.

Pat Roche Hospice Home Volunteers assist at the hospice house greeting visitors, doing light cleaning, baking and cooking. This would be on a specific day and time. Currently we are recruiting for Monday's 4-7 PM, Thursday's 8-11 AM and Saturday's 8-11.

Integrative Therapy Volunteers are certified or licensed professionals in (Reiki, Massage, Pet Therapy, Music Therapy, Hairdressing/Barber services, and Reflexology that are used to provide comfort to patients and their families.

Veteran's Recognition Volunteers recognize and honors the veteran during a ceremony by presenting patient and family with a framed certificate and an American flag lapel pin.

Administrative Volunteers provide support in our NVNA and Hospice office in Norwell. This could be directly with the Volunteer Coordinator or another hospice area.

Bereavement Volunteers offer support working with bereavement coordinator sending cards or making phone calls to families.

Cancer Support Community (CSC) Volunteers provide support in our CSC office in Norwell.

Thorough background check, training and support is provided.
