The Dream Big: Healthy Together Initiative is seeking experienced, fun and motivated individuals to help support after school academic programming in Boulder! You will work with Kindergarten through 5th graders on Tuesdays and Thursdays (3:15pm-5:45pm) at a local community center. During those times you can expect to support students with their homework, literacy growth, math skills and building relationships with these students. In addition you will have some leadership responsibilities too, such as helping set up program, lead small groups and generally keep program on schedule. You will work with two staff members to support 10-20 kids. You can help be a part of a program that is working to close the achievement gap and end the cycle of poverty. Come spend a few hours a week having fun, giving back to your community, and instilling a passion for education in Boulder youth!

This role is a great opportunity for responsible individuals 16+ years old who are looking for service hours and/or experience working with youth. All individuals are welcome to inquire.
